Columbia Pike borders the neighborhood to the south, Alcova Heights to the west, Penrose to the east and Ashton Heights and Lyon Park both border to the north of the area. Buckingham is also a short drive away towards the northwest.

The Arlington Cinema N’ Drafthouse is an old-school 1930s movie theater that screens second-run films as well as hosting comedy shows and concerts. Waiters serve you food and drink as you enjoy your movie or show.
Thomas Jefferson Community & Fitness Center is a spacious fitness facility that offers plenty of recreational activities for people of all ages. There is basketball, badminton, soccer, an indoor track and a volleyball court. Most residents in this area go to work with a car while many also take the bus. The Ballston Metro station is easily accessible, and runs on the Orange and Silver lines.
