Her experiences as a small business owner and entrepreneur, prior to her transition into the real estate industry, have enhanced Laura's abilities in the black-and-white side of contracts and negotiation, as well as the ever-changing needs of customer service. Laura is known for her direct approach and honest feedback, as much as her willingness to provide help and support. These skills are applied when working with clients, as well as in consulting with agents, teams and brokerages across the country.
Laura became a Realtor in 2009 and has been licensed in Virginia and Georgia, moving into leadership roles at the local and state level. She has served on committees for Leadership Development and Grievance, and as Chair of YPN committees at both levels; she currently sits on the Board of Directors for her local Realtor Association.
Here are the juicy bits you were looking for when you committed to reading this boring bio:
Laura lives on a micro-farm, near Quantico, VA, where she alternately prays for rain & sun, depending on the weather. This is where she and her husband -both loyal fans of Da Bears- are raising two amazing children and living the American Dream. Laura played the role of "Extra," in her high school's production of South Pacific, despite belting out more of "Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair" than anyone else in the audition. She is a certified to read blueprints and her biggest life lessons are mostly things she has learned the hard way, like: "Never buy a horse named 'Buck'."
