About Me

Life can be stressful; buying or selling a home doesn't have to be.

Lynn is the expert when it comes to Northern Virginia, and she utilizes this trusted knowledge to help clients find the home and neighborhood that is a perfect match for them and their family by providing exceptional service, attention to detail, honesty and commitment.

Her goal with each client is to guide them through a stressful time with diplomatic communication, grace and a bit of humor. Unlike the typical agent, her in-depth knowledge of the area and its businesses helps her clients in more ways than buying or selling a home.

Prior to starting her real estate career, Lynn covered the Northern Virginia region and real estate market for more than 15 years. She was the editor of Northern Virginia Magazine, a lifestyle glossy covering all aspects of the region, from entertainment, food and style to business, real estate and personalities. Her writing focused on real estate and home design along with features on the latest developments coming to the area. Prior to her position at the magazine, she was a senior editor at Hanley Wood, a real estate media firm, where she covered the national residential real estate industry, and the business and real estate editor at the Loudoun Times-Mirror, covering the booming Loudoun market.

Lynn is a native of Northern Virginia, growing up in Woodbridge, attending high school in Alexandria, and receiving a journalism degree at George Mason University. She currently lives in Fairfax with her husband, two boys and four pets.

“Lynn made selling our house an enjoyable learning experience. As a couple who had never sold their house before, we had many questions and she answered each one, clear and concise. Always timely in responding, I felt I could reach out to her at any time on any day and receive a fast and knowledgable answer. Our schedule and our needs were always her priority. Lynn went above and beyond the call of duty, along for every step of the journey, and for that I will always be grateful. ”

“I met Lynn Norusis while she was showing a rental for a colleague of hers. I was not looking for realtor at that time but I planned to within the next 6 months although I did not plan on using Century 21. Lynn understood within a short conversation with me that I really wanted to buy instead of rent. Lynn was immediately "on it" like nobody's business. She worked very diligently to find me a home and followed up on everything. Lynn does this while not being pushy and has a laid back and calm demeanor. I had several options to go with other realtors through my work relocation program, my credit union as well as a referral from mom who has her license with a large competitor. All of those options would have given me a cash rebate at closing however, Lynn was working so hard for me I couldn't stop her. I decided her hard work was better than any rebate. When I told my mom the different things Lynn did she said, "wow, she is a good realtor." Some people are realtors because they can be but not a lot are really very good at the job. Lynn is really good at her job.”
