Visiting a local winery is new favorite pastime for many. Join the fun and spend an afternoon at Linganore Winecellars. With many wines to chose from, you're sure to fund a favorite. Linganore winecellars also has many fun events and festivals throughout the year pairing their wine with music and fun for all!
Best pizza in Mt. Airy (especially the caramelized onions & bacon), but that's not all. Laurienzos has awesome Italian food, no matter what your choice would be. The atmosphere and service is fantastic. If you're looking for a room for a private party, they have that too.
The best part of having lived in Mt. Airy
There are so many things I loved about living in Mt. Airy from Lorienzo's restaurant to attending festivals and parades on Main Street to basically having Linganore Winery in my backyard. My most favorite is the proximity to the best Home Goods combined with T.J. Maxx I have ever shopped! I often take the 25 minute drive back to this location even though I now live closer to a Home Goods store, having both of these stores combined and their selection is the very best!
Betty Lou's Old Fashioned Soft Pretzels
Betty Lou's is located at 228 S. Main street in downtown mount airy. You cannot eat just one! Their secret recipes boasts the most unforgettable combinations of sugar and cinnamon, crushed almond, toasted coconut, sprinkles on butter icing, plain with butter, caramel almond, caramel coconut and, my favorite, the old bay. And just this past 2015 Holiday season, Betty Lou's introduced the Pizza Pretzel! Baked fresh on order, the wait is worth it!! Don't forget to order two! The first one will never make it home. I guarantee it!!
