Thank you for stopping by our site! Let us take you on a tour of our area.
Central Virginia is really the heart of our state. It is rich with history, tradition and attractions. My county, Orange, was home to James Madison and his wife, Dolley. Their estate, Montpelier, hosts the Montpelier Races and the Orange County Wine Festival. Orange County is also the birthplace of President Zachary Taylor, our nation’s twelfth president.
The Barboursville Ruins, the only building in Orange said to be designed by Thomas Jefferson, is another historic highlight. And 12 Civil War sites are located in the county, including the Civil War Museum at the Exchange Hotel in Gordonsville.
With its many rivers, fishing and water sports are popular pursuits in Central Virginia. Lake of the Woods, where my family lives, is a 550 acre lake community with more than 3,800 homes. We have every sport and activity that you could imagine.
Give us a call and let us take you on a real tour! From the mountains to the rivers, we know Central Virginia and want to share its heart with you!
