Amelia Square Real Estate
One of the great advantages of living at Amelia Square, or downtown Fredericksburg for that matter, is that you have great restaurants within walking distance. If you love having innovative food, then Mercantile is for you. Open for breakfast and lunch and located on William St, this little place is winner. They have unique dishes to delight the palate. It is small so you have to get there early if you don't to wait!
Located right across the street from Amelia Square, Primavera is a great neighborhood spot for pizza, salad, and subs. They also deliver! I recommend their thin crusty veggie pizza - always a crowd pleaser.
The Farmers Market
Visit one of 4 markets for fresh and locally grown fruits and vegetables. The markets also feature farmers with their local beef, pork and chicken as well as local artisans. The farmer's market for Fredericksburg is located in Hukamp Park in downtown Fredericksburg. The largest farmers market in the region, the Spotsylvania County Farmers Market has two locations: Route 3-Gordon Road Commuter Lot and Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center. I spend many Saturday morings at these markets and stock up the freezer for the winter months.
