Arlingwood Arlington, VA
Just steps from Arlingwood is the site of the famous duel in 1826 between Henry Clay and John Randolph after Randolph had insulted Clay on the Senate floor. After a few missed shots from each side, the dual was ended without harm. The only harm done was to Randolph's overcoat which was grazed by a bullet and led him to famously say, "You owe me a coat Mr. Clay."
