Originally from Northern Virginia, Mike has an astute knowledge of NOVA and Prince William County and is an invaluable resource with regard to schools, communities, work commutes, and recreation. After graduating from Gar-Field Senior High School, Mike decided to learn some southern hospitality at Louisiana State University while earning a Bachelor of Music degree. Coupled with his Masters in Arts Management degree from George Mason University, Mike learned very early the importance of attention-to-detail.
Between his college days and real estate career, Mike has served over 22 years as a military musician (drummer) in both the United States Marine Corps (Quantico Marine Band) and the United States Army (United States Military Academy Band and The United States Army Band, "Pershing's Own"). Also being the son of a Sailor and Coastie, he knows the stresses that a PCS move can have on a family and service member.
Additionally, Mike has an extensive background in sales and special event management. While in the military, he began a dual career in wedding and corporate events in 2009, providing quality service to brides and corporate clients alike. And more importantly, he learned to listen more than talk. As he did while working in the wedding industry, Mike recognizes and values the trust of his real estate clients and strives every day to exceed their expectations.
In his spare time, Mike enjoys performing with his band Delta Spur, family time with his sassy wife and sassy 7-year old daughter, as well as dog park adventures with their sassy one-year old Great Dane pup.
