Born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware, Rob graduated from Elizabethtown College and American University's Washington College of Law and has called Washington, D.C. home for 22 years.
Rob's background in real estate finance and law as former counsel to a mortgage lender and current role as settlement attorney provides his buyer and seller clients with a '360 degree view' of the real estate transaction, and can help anticipate issues and solutions providing for a smooth route to the closing table.
Rob's knowledge of D.C. tenant laws and condo/co-op conversion rules are particularly helpful to investor/developer clients. This knowledge together with Rob's expert knowledge of values and trends in the market and passion for real estate assist his clients become better informed about the transaction from beginning to end; whether explaining the difference between condominiums and co-ops, how to finance a transaction, or what's covered by title insurance, Rob translates industry jargon into user-friendly terms so clients fully understand the product, process and procedure from beginning to end.
