Six Flags America is a short drive away via Route 301. This amusement park offers Looney Tunes-themed rides for kids, roller coasters and an attached water park. The park covers 523 acres and was originally founded as a wildlife center in 1973. The property was then bought by Wild Kingdom where it slowly converted from a wildlife preserve into a theme park.

Traveling Around Upper Marlboro

Upper Marlboro is located at the intersection of Route 4 and Route 301. Route 301 driven northbound will take you into Greater Upper Marlboro, while driving southbound will take you to Marlton and eventually Waldorf. Route 4 traveled eastbound goes as far as Bristol while driving westbound can take you into Washington, DC. Route 202 takes residents directly into Largo where they can find the Largo Town Center Metro station. This station services the Blue and Silver lines and also provides bus routes from nearby neighborhoods.
